I used the discount code that you had and purchased a pepper spray. Got it in the mail rather quickly. It is the perfect size to fit in my arm band holder where I usually put a energy gel. I had been needed to get a spray because I often encounter dogs on my run. Thanks for all the great info.

Congrats! And yes, be safe for the kiddos and everyone else. I always tell people if they “have to” spray, stop (tell other runners/kids/partners to run away), put the non spray hand out in front of you, YELL stop, then with the spray hand discharge in a zig zag fashion. The stop hand is to prevent the perp from grabbing your spray. If they grab your extended hand, don’t panic, they will let go once you spray them and if they don’t, then kick them.
We were also told by Dennis the Martial Arts guy to make eye contact with everyone and NEVER appear scared of victim like.
